As I was driving home after the show last week, I was in awe of and grateful for the open, honest conversation that my three guests had just shared. We came together on the show during Pride Weekend in Baltimore to talk about the LGBT movement – when it got a voice and the progress it’s made over the last 40 years.
Joining me were Betsy Cerulo, the CEO and Founder of AdNet AccountNet, Inc.; Carrie Evans, the Executive Director of Equality Maryland, the state’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization; and, Tracey Gersh, Ph.D., the Chief Program Officer at Chase Brexton Health Services. Each of these women live as part of, work on behalf of and/or support LGBT rights and causes.
From discussing the history of the movement to workplace issues, health issues, legal and social issues, and what still needs to be addressed… they were full of important information for all listeners.
If you missed the show, or you want to share it with a friend, it will be posted in the podcast archive later on this week. It’s the June 15th show.
