A Conscious Conversations Cafe Show: Bouncing Back – The Power of Resilience

Saturday, December 3, 2011

At one time in your life, or at many times during your life, you will face adversity.   So much so that you feel you’ve lost it and that your whole world as you know it is spinning totally out of control.  It could be a relationship that is falling apart, you losing your job, hearing the news that you have a serious illness, the death of a loved one, or a terrorist attack that brings it on.  And, at that moment in time, you wonder if you can survive the shock of what’s happening and the unbearable pain that follows.  Joining me in the studio for another Conscious Conversations Café show were three amazing women who have demonstrated the power of resilience at various times during their own lives.  The bounce back quality has kept them moving forward with ease and grace even in the face of life-changing events, and each of them shares their strengths in the work that they do, often helping others through challenging times.  Tune in to hear what Beth, Kelly and LaVonne turn to when they need strength and who their own role models are.
Guests:  Beth Bracaglia, Chief Organizing Officer of Simply Organized,
Kelly A. Meerbott, Tranformational Coach with You: Loud & Clear,
LaVonne Sumler, CEO of Voice of Significance
