It’s a common condition now and one that, sooner or later, may affect every one of you. You may feel like you’re caught between a rock and a hard place. You could be raising your own children, taking care of your family, working hard at your career and job…and right now or in the future, you’ll find yourself in the position of taking care of your elderly parents and their arrangements. Leonard Raskin of Wealth Advocacy Partners, joins me and talk about this very topic. In some cases, your parents may need occasional help making sure groceries are stocked, running some errands and taking care of maintenance around the home. However, in some cases, a medical condition or disability will make it necessary for you to hire home help or consider assisted living or nursing home facilities. And, these aren’t cheap. The bottom line is…you and your parents will want to take some concrete steps to access their situation, determine their needs, and how it will be handled financially. And, the sooner, the better. Tune in as Leonard discusses the steps of this important planning process.
