Marian House is a transitional and permanent housing and support services program for women and children located Baltimore City. Katie Allston, the Executive Director of Marian House and Deborah, a former resident of Marian House, joined me to talk about the history – Marian House being created as a real solution to a problem in Baltimore and how, since 1982, it has evolved to help their residents heal, recover, gain their independence, reunite with their children and become productive members of society. Deborah is one of those women. After several attempts to turn her life around and failing, Deborah ended up at Marian House. That’s when her new life began. Tune in for some real inspiration.
