The Women and Girls Lead Initiative

My guests this week joined me to talk about Women and Girls Lead – a major public media initiative to focus, educate and connect citizens worldwide in support of the issues facing women and girls and to help them thrive.  Women and girls all over the world are stepping into leadership roles and working hard to improve their communities and the lives of their families.  There is much to be done. Tune in to to find how who’s involved in this major project, hear what’s planned internationally over the next 3+ years and find out how you can become involved in your own community.
Guests:  Faith Wachter, Director of Community Outreach Initiatives at Maryland Public Television(MPT) and
Jeanne Allert, Executive Director at The Samaritan Women
