I also heard an interview last year on NPR that talked about PTSD and the person being interviewed said that the toughest PTSD was from sexual assault/domestic violence. I believe that whatever attacks our soul as a result of any type of trauma and keeps us from LIVING and keeps us afraid to live is a battle that is so hard to fight.
