“It is not the intelligent woman v. the ignorant woman; nor the white woman v. the black, the brown, and the red, it is not even the cause of woman v. man. Nay, tis woman’s strongest vindication for speaking that the world needs to hear her voice.” – Anna Julia Haywood Cooper
Just about every woman I know, at one time or another, has said, “If only women ran the world, we wouldn’t be in this fix.” or, “It’s time for women to step up and make a difference.”
And, that’s something I hear more and more of these days. With real change to happen in this world, we need some feminine energy to balance what has been a very masculine-run world. Notice I said “balance”. We very much need that masculine energy…balanced with some wise-woman energy.
And, that’s what we’ll be talking about in the Conscious Conversations Café this week – Why women? Why now?
Joining me to discuss this topic will be three amazing and wise women who have much to share:
Robin Rice – an internationally published novelist, a visionary leader, and a contemporary shaman. Her work with the Awesome Women Hub on facebook has created a unique space for 17,000+ women to celebrate and promote women’s values and work.
Jacke Schroeder – a management consultant, coach and business process re-engineer, Jacke has been called a Corporate Shaman. Assisting women executives and organizational consultants as a member of their professional services teams, Jacke straddles the realms of business and holistic spiritual development applying the time-proven wisdom and methodologies of indigenous peoples to modern business.
Lucky Sweeny – the co-founder of Evolutionary Women, Feminine Co-creators of the New Future. The women of EW are dedicated to the empowerment of women as leaders and co-creators in their homes, communities and the world.
Join us for an enlightening conversation.
Tune in Saturday, 08/27, from 6:07-7:00 pm ET on Talkradio 680 WCBM Baltimore or “Listen Live” online.

And, be sure to check out last week’s show – Jennifer Robin, personal style consultant, artist and author of Growing More Beautiful: An Artful Approach to Personal Style helps women redefine their approach on how to dress in order to stand out, rather than fit in, and how to show off their personality rather than hiding it beneath boring clothes in blah colors. And, we talked about so much more than just clothes. Lots of great tips from Jennifer. So, before you head to the mall, be sure to listen to this show.
