    • This Week on WomanTalk Live: “You Got the Power” with Lesa Trevino

      Thursday, January 31, 2013

      02-02-13 - Lesa Trevino
      Lesa Trevino

“I guess it comes down to a simple choice really, get busy living or get busy dying.”
      - Andy, The Shawshank Redemption

My guest this week, Lesa Trevino, has worked with countless individuals to support them in making positive, healthy changes in their lives.  Acting in much the same way as a coach, she guides them through the steps they need to take to consider the change, act on the change, and make it stick as a regular part of their lives.

What she has learned through this process is that the power to make the change resides in you and only you. That power is there and unless you give it away or choose not to use it, you have exactly what you need to make things happen.

It might not be easy, and yes, making changes after years of not eating healthy, not exercising, not getting enough sleep, over-doing and over-committing, or whatever else needs some adjusting in your life, requires you to take the responsibility and to make the effort.

But, you don’t have to do it alone.  And, remember… that power is already there.

Lesa J. Trevino is a retired, licensed clinical psychologist with over fifteen years of experience in behavioral counseling.  Her experience has spanned private practice, outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings, specializing in addictive behaviors, pain management, education and general life adjustment.

Lesa is currently licensed as a registered nurse in Maryland and works with WellAdvantage, Inc. in the areas of corporate wellness, community health, metabolic and nutritional education, and also with the Saint Agnes Hospital well4life® Program.

Join us this week as we talk about taking our power back and using it full out to get busy living.

Saturday, February 2nd, from 6:07- 7:00 pm ET on Talkradio 680 WCBM Baltimore or “Listen Live” online

      Ann and Betsy Cerulo

Be sure to check out last week’s show – Creating a Slice of Heaven in the Middle of Chaos – when I talked with Betsy Cerulo, Founder and CEO of AdNet, an integrative business solutions company offering recruiting and placement of accounting, financial, administrative, healthcare, human resources and information technology professionals and staff in the private and government sectors.  As WomanTalk Live’s newest expert – the Passion and Purpose Expert – Betsy shared her thoughts and wisdom about evaluating your work – from a career and quality of life viewpoint.

If you missed the show or you want to share it with a friend, it’s in the podcast archive now – the January 26th show.
