  • This Week on WomanTalk Live: “Money and Divorce – What You Need to Know” with Leonard Raskin

    Thursday, March 7, 2013

    Leonard Raskin RG
    Leonard Raskin

With the divorce rate still hovering at the 50% mark in our country, chances are you know plenty of people who have been divorced.  Chances are, you could be one of them.  And, there may be the possibility that you could be in the middle of divorce proceedings right now or contemplating them in the future.

Don’t get me wrong… I’m not advocating divorce.  But, what I do know is that divorce is an emotional rollercoaster for those involved.  And, part of the rollercoaster is figuring out the money side of divorce.

Times have changed from years past when most women were on the receiving end of divorce settlements.  Now, many women are the main breadwinners in their homes and there is a chance that they will be the ones paying out in the settlement.

Regardless, the important thing to keep in mind: the financial decisions you make before and during your divorce will directly impact the rest of your life… for better or worse.

Joining me this week to discuss the importance of being prepared is the WomanTalk Live Wealth Expert, Leonard Raskin, CEO of Raskin Global and Women Getting Wise on Wealth.  Tune in so you can begin your single life knowing that you have made the most thoughtful decisions required to establish your long-term financial security.  Otherwise, you may have more costly regrets than that past “I do.”

Saturday, March 9th, from 6:07-7:00 pm ET on Talkradio 680 WCBM Baltimore or “Listen Live” online
