    • WTL Wrap-Up: “Survival Guide for the Blindsided and Brokenhearted”

      Tuesday, June 25, 2013

      Justina Chen

You have a wonderful life with two precious young children.  You’re an award-winning author of young adult novels.  Your husband calls you one day and says… “How’d you like to move to Shanghai for a year or two?”  What an experience – rich culture, adventure abroad, exposing the children to a whole new world.  Wow!

So you pack up your house, your kids, your life and move half-way around the world and about three months later, you get another PHONE CALL from your husband…. “I’m in love with another woman.”  Not only another woman, but his assistant.  The primary reason for the move in the first place.

      Now what?

My guest last week, Justina Chen, lived through that cliché nightmare.  And, after she packed up, moved home and began pulling her life together, she decided to write What Now – Survival Guide for the Blindsided and Brokenhearted  for other women who find themselves in a similar situation.

A thoughtful, easy-to-read set of marching orders – all to get you through the first thirty days and back on track to securing your future and the future for your children.

And through it all, Justina’s  biggest intention from Day 1:  I will be better… not bitter.

An amazing woman with so much love and spirit in her, if you missed the show or you want to share it with a friend, it will be posted in the podcast archive later on this week.  It’s the June 22nd show
