07-13-13 - Jo Ellen   WTL In Studio w-Jo Ellen
Jo Ellen Soesbee by her official TBTG truck (see the pink?!) and Jo Ellen and Susan Bishop in the studio

By Guest Host, Susan Bishop of Unlocked Box

As guest host for Ann last week, I had the pleasure of talking with Jo Ellen Soesbee, the ToolBox TomGirl and WomanTalk Live DIY Expert, about 5 wow-inducing summer projects.

As usual, Jo Ellen had so many tips for simple, inexpensive DIY projects that I’m going to need to re-listen to the podcast even though I was right there with her!

From giving your home a “facial” to lighting, flooring, counter tops and more, Jo Ellen shared ideas not only for what we can do to transform our homes, but also for new innovative products that I think a lot of us are going to want to try out. I know I’m doing my deck with that new composite-like paint she talked about.

She also sent me a photo of the refurbished door she mentioned during the show (it’s beautiful) and a before and after that illustrates just how far a shower curtain can go in beautifying a bathroom.

I hope you enjoy the photos and show as much as I did!

Tired of sliding doors?  Get rid of ‘em and dress things up a bit with a new shower curtain

If you missed the show or you want to share it with a friend, it will be posted in the podcast archive later on this week.  It’s the July 13th show.
