“I am so glad we had the opportunity to chat on Easter Sunday – a beautiful day, all sunshiny and a bit warmer. I know you’re concerned for some people you know and love – the one’s who are burning both ends of the candle. You know how that can take an affect on a body and soul for you, too, had lived years doing that very same thing. That stress, lack of sleep, lack of exercise and lack of peace can run one into the ground. And, then, of course, when it’s least convenient, one can be stopped dead in their tracks from either physical or mental exhaustion or both, disease, or yes, even death. You remember that happening(not the death part), don’t you, Ann?
Well, over the past almost two years, you’ve been fortunate to live a different type of life – focused more on self-nurturing. Knowing how wonderful that is when done on a regular basis – getting enough sleep; eating healthy meals; moving your body; getting outside in nature; pursuing new interests; tapping into your creativity; reading more; meditating or sitting quietly; having fun with friends – you want everybody to start loving up on themselves.
Some people will tell you they don’t have enough time. They think getting an occasional facial or their toenails painted is self-nurturing. Well, it’s not enough if you don’t have the important “feed your mind/body/soul” going on regularly. I wonder if they have enough time to be sick or have a breakdown of some sort? I wonder how they will keep that project they’re working on going if they drop dead?
So maybe, just like you have found, just adding one thing on a daily basis can start to make a big difference. Leo Tolstoy said, “True life is lived when tiny changes occur.” Those tiny changes of love can lead to more.
Keep on loving yourself, Ann. And, keep on letting your loved ones and friends know how worth it they are to take some self-loving time on a daily basis. It can be a life-changer for them, too.”

In July 2015, Ann’s sister, Linda, came to visit her in Vermont. It just so happened that Zen Frog showed up on that very day, too. Zen Frog decided to stay and found a perfect guru spot on the deck surrounded by trees, overlooking a garden, and having beautiful little Mt. Peg in the background. Since then, Zen Frog has shared her wisdom with Ann, who in turn shares it with you.
