Every Woman Visionary: Self-Love is the Secret to Success

Having guided and supported people for 25 years, I have found that the struggles of human beings are almost always in two areas of concern. The first is the need to grieve lossess, and let go of the past.  The second is the need to love one’s self more. 

Naturally, the two are very related, for the ability to grieve and surrender to life’s losses opens the doors to greater self-love.  When someone stubbornly refuses to let go, chances are that they will remain stuck in a job, marriage, or some situation that devalues who they are.

Every time you take a stand for yourself, not in an egoic or defensive way, but in a loving way that honors who you are, the universe rushes in to provide more support, more love, more of whatever is needed for you to move to the next level of your personal evolution.

In her new and timely book, The Law of Divine Compensation, spiritual teacher Marianne Williamson says, “The Law of Divine Compensation represents the natural working of the universe, but it’s up to each one of us to rid our minds of the thoughts that block it.  Unloving thoughts deactivate the Law.  They sabotage the dynamic by which the universe is programmed to support us.”  

With the groundswell of new businesses by women, the call for women to radically ditch the negative self-talk and embrace their power and brilliance is resounding.  We cannot afford to block the natural working of the universe which is the rising up of women to take their rightful place in leading the world today.

Today, during a powerful session with a young entrepreneurial client, she was able to identify her part in a pattern of opportunistic, rich, older businessmen attempting to lure her into business deals promising fame and money to her.  She counted several, and knew enough, after our work together, to want to explore what message she was giving off that elicited so many similar situations.

We looked at the 4 main archetypes, or patterns of energy, that every human being has:

1. Victim
2. Child
3. Judge
4. Prostitute

I asked her which one seemed most at play, and she saw how she ended up feeling each one, at some point along the way when she agreed to the less-than-above-board business arrangements.  Then she realized that the Prostitute was the instigator here – the part of her that was willing to silence the voice of her own knowing and her own values and sell herself for the imagined security that money and power could bring her.

Nothing – and I mean NOTHING – is worth your own integrity and sovereignty!  No job, no relationship, no amount of outward success is worth the peace you feel inside knowing you are honoring yourself.

When you do, you tap into the pure energy of your Being, and become a magnet for what it is you need for the next stage of growth, including the money to do what you need to do.

Radical self-love is what is needed—the kind that informs your choices and tells you when to say no, because the vow you have taken to fulfill your soul’s purpose in this life is the most important decision you have ever made.

What we are talking about is courage, which means “to take heart, to love.”  Nothing truly great is achieved without it.  When you let this courageous love, which is a powerful aspect of the Divine Feminine, be the very source of inspiration for the choices you make in your business and life, you step into true power.  You step into true prosperity.  You step into your own brilliant and totally unique life.

And to think it all begins with loving yourself!!!  What could be better than that?
