The Healing Power of Place

Many of us dream of that special place.  A place we can escape to and examine the parts of our life that we have left unexamined.  When we are there in our special place, it becomes an invitation, if we accept it, to know ourselves and can ultimately be an invitation to great growth and healing.  Serious illness leads many to a reexamination of their life path.  For my guest, a journey of healing to the Scottish island of Iona takes her on a six-month solitary retreat where she opens her soul to the magic of the place.  Her story speaks to those who seek a more healthful and spiritual life, to people entering retirement, to nature lovers everywhere, to those recovering from serious illness, and to anyone who shares her search for an authentic life.  Tune in and listen as she encourages all of us to discover our own place of healing.
