From childhood, Jo Ellen Soesbee has been a tomboy (or, tomgirl). However, growing up, she was taught that women had very few real career options. She chose one of them and stifled her passion. One day, she was forced to make a decision after being laid off, and the rest is history. She is now the CEO of Reliable Repairs, and is a.k.a. the ToolBox TomGirl. She joined me to talk about finding her passion after twenty plus years in a traditional job and to talk about why working in the trades is really a viable option for women. Tune in to hear her tips and who knows, you might become a hammer toting woman yourself.
Guest: Jo Ellen Soesbee, the ToolBox TomGirl and CEO of Reliable Repairs
