Betsy Cerulo

Since the beginning of the year is one of those times that people often look at what’s going on in their careers and in their workplace, Betsy Cerulo, CEO of AdNet, an integrative business solutions company, and I discussed reasons people may be wanting to make a change, what holds someone back from doing so, and what to do if making a change at this time is not possible – just how do you make lemonade out of the lemons?  Since issues at work often affect every aspect of your life and since you spend a majority of your waking hours at work… Betsy feels you owe it to yourself, your loved ones and your employer to learn to create a little slice of heaven.  Yep, even in the midst of what feels like chaos.  If you find yourself contemplating/evaluating your career, listen in and pick up some pointers on what your next step should be.
Guest: Betsy Cerulo, Founder and CEO of AdNet, Inc.

This was a fantastic podcast.  As a HR Professional, I cannot tell you how important it is to hear a CEO/President talk about making investments in their people….not just financial!  Betsy Cerulo acknowledge that she has not always been perfect in her leadership style, but she saw what needed to be shifted and made the change.  That’s true leadership!  I needed this today.  Thank you to Ann and Betsy for sharing!

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts…  what I love about Betsy is not only her “smarts” about her business… but her “smarts” about people.  Can you imagine what would happen if more business leaders had this “heart smart” to go along with their intelligence?

  • bcerulo

Thank you so much for your comments. The people are who make an organization thrive yet there is this perception that the CEO is the one. The employees fill my soul, challenge and push me to be a better leader. It is a shared relationship where we teach each other. If ever you want to talk more and share our commonalities, call me at 410-715-4035 or email [email protected]. If there is no response, try [email protected].

Once again, Betsy, you are what I define as a true leader and WomanTalk Live is so fortunate to be able also to share you with our listeners and our readers over at the Passion & Purpose corner here:  http://womantalklive.com/article/category/career/
